I write on climate solutions and provide writing and editing services to individuals, organizations, and coalitions who remake our relations to place and to each other.
My offerings include science writing, editorial management, developmental editing, and technical editing.
Every place and person has layers of stories. I work with clients to identify the essential stories, weave them together, tell them clearly and accessibly, support them with solid research, and ensure that the final product is consistent and polished.
Many of my clients advocate for land protection, Indigenous stewardship, and related topics: nature-based solutions, 30×30, Traditional Ecological Knowledge, and the preservation and/or restoration of cultural landscapes and ecosystems.
I have experience working with Native American Tribes to preserve cultural landscapes, thereby conserving ecosystems, biodiversity, and the relationships between the people and their ancestral lands. Because these relationships have been deeply disrupted, my work is trauma-aware.
